Major Sessions 3 & 2 of OMT–LiM end
Ministerial formation at the Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC), Abetifi has marked another important moment with the successful completion of Major Sessions 3 and 2 of the Ordained Ministry Training – Licentiate in Ministry (OMT–LiM) programme yesterday.
Students of the two Major Sessions have been at RTC for six intensive weeks of academic, spiritual and practical formation. The sessions offered a rich blend of classroom instruction across core ministerial subjects, hymn lessons, mentorship engagements and specialised training designed to deepen pastoral competence.
One of the major highlights was a comprehensive mental health assessment for all students, a first for many, aimed at promoting emotional resilience and wellbeing in ministerial formation. Students also participated in an incisive Conference, Workshop and Seminar (CWS) module covering disability inclusion, deliverance, healing and other contemporary ministry issues.
These sessions equipped trainees with practical understanding of how to minister effectively in diverse and complex pastoral contexts. As the two Major Sessions conclude, RTC continues to affirm its commitment to shaping ministers who are spiritually grounded, academically prepared and pastorally sensitive to the needs of the church.
