A total of 259 candidates are today sitting for the 2026 Ordained Ministerial Training-Licentiate in Ministry (OMT-LiM) Entrance Examination, being conducted in Ghana, Europe, and North America/Australia.

The examination forms part of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s (PCG) process for admitting prospective candidates into ministerial formation and training at the Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC), Abetifi.

The examination is taking place today, Saturday, 31st October 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with candidates being assessed in English Language, General Paper, Old Testament, and New Testament.

In Ghana, candidates are writing at three examination centres: Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Legon, Accra, serving nine Presbyteries; Paul Fenteng Memorial Hall, Adum, serving six Presbyteries; and Sunyani Technical University, serving four Presbyteries.

Additional examination arrangements are in place for candidates in Europe and North America/Australia, who are writing at their respective local times, reflecting the PCG’s international reach and commitment to providing opportunities for ministerial formation beyond Ghana’s borders.

The examination is a key stage in the selection process for individuals seeking admission to the Church’s Licentiate in Ministry programme. Successful candidates will proceed to the subsequent stages of the highly competitive yet spiritually guided selection process.

The examination is being conducted under the auspices of the Department of Church Life and Nurture (CLAN), led by its Director, Rev. Andrew Shardow.
