National Evangelism Consultation opens next week
The Department of Mission and Evangelism is set to hold the 2026 National Evangelism and Church Growth Consultation from 9th to 13th November 2026 at the Ramseyer Training Centre, Abetifi-Kwahu.
The annual consultation will bring together church leaders, ministers and mission workers worldwide to reflect on strategies for evangelism and church growth, while strengthening efforts towards building a disciple-focused church. The event will be held under the theme, “Celebrating Our Heritage: Building on the Foundation Already Laid, Nurturing Christ-Centred Disciples” (1 Corinthians 3:10-11 and Matthew 16:24-26).
The Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, alongside the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev. David Aboagye-Danquah are expected to be in attendance. Also participating will be the National Director of Mission and Evangelism, Rev. Abraham Opoku-Baffour.
A key highlight will be a presentation by Guest Speaker, Chairperson of the Dangme Tongu Presbytery, Rev. Gideon Buernor Puplampu, whose contribution is expected to enrich conversations on effective evangelism and sustainable church growth.
The consultation forms part of the Church’s continued commitment to nurturing Christ-centred disciples and equipping its members for mission. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect and have strategic discussions aimed at advancing the work of evangelism.
