The Kutunse District Minister, Rev. Dr. Chris Baah Nartey, has emphasised the divine importance of growth in the church of God, especially in these last days.

Speaking on the theme: “Growing the Church in Our Time,” at the leadership seminar under the umbrella of the 2026 National Crusade, Rev. Dr. Nartey declared that we live in a prophetic season of the body of Christ, an epoch of God’s civilisation, and therefore it is crucial for believers to align with the Spirit and the move of God.

He explained that one of the cardinal signs of the closing chapter of life is the massive influx of souls into the church, pointing to the prophecies of Isaiah 2:1–3 and Micah 4:1–2 as evidence that church growth is part of God’s end-time agenda.

He reminded participants that while worldly knowledge may fade, the church will continue to stand strong. Growth, he said, is imminent and must be both quantitative, numerical increase as seen in Acts 2:47; and qualitative, spiritual maturity as taught in 2 Peter 3:18 and Ephesians 4:14–15.

Rev. Dr. Nartey stressed that growth must be transformative and evident, with both groups and individuals advancing in faith. “Growth is a rule of creation,” he affirmed, adding that the ultimate purpose of church growth is to subdue lands for God, rescue lost souls, and fulfill the mission of spreading the Gospel.
