PCG shakes Kumasi with national crusade
The Jubilee Park in Kumasi has been transformed into a spiritual battlefield as the 2026 National Crusade of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana entered its second day on Thursday night. Thousands of worshippers, ministers of God, and seekers of divine encounter have thronged the venue, filling the atmosphere with songs of praise, fervent prayers, and heartfelt worship.
From the opening night, the park has been under what can be described as “the siege of the Holy Spirit.” The gathering, themed “Jesus Christ, Our Hope and Refuge”, has already become one of the largest Christian assemblies in the country this year. The crusade has drawn believers from across Ghana, united in lifting high the name of Jesus Christ.
Thursday night’s session opened with electrifying gospel music led by DSP Kofi Sarpong and Kesewa Kessy, whose spirit-filled ministrations set hearts ablaze with reverence. Rev. Eric Botchway then ushered the multitude into a powerful prayer session, where tears flowed freely, hands were lifted in surrender, and voices rose in unison to the heavens.
Preaching on the opening night a day earlier, Rev. Botchway declared that every genuine encounter with God brings transformation. Drawing from the life of Abraham, he reminded the congregation that divine intervention can change destinies and restore hope.
As the crusade continues, Kumasi remains shaken by the mighty move of God, with testimonies of healing, renewal, and salvation already emerging. The Presbyterian Church of Ghana is once again demonstrating its mission of evangelism, bringing the nation to its knees in worship before the Lord.
