The School of Continuous Education for Ministers of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has ended its third cohort in the Akuapem Presbytery, marking another step in the church’s commitment to lifelong ministerial formation and professional development.
The programme, designed to strengthen the capacity of ministers in contemporary ministry, brought together ministers for advanced training in pastoral leadership, church administration, mission strategy, and emerging issues shaping today’s church.
Facilitators led sessions on theology, ethics, digital ministry, governance, and community engagement, ensuring ministers remain effective in both pulpit and public witness. Opening the session, the church leadership reaffirmed that continuous education is essential for sustaining excellence in ministry.
Participants were encouraged to approach the programme with openness and a commitment to applying the knowledge gained in their congregations. The School of Continuous Education forms part of the PCG’s broader effort to build a well‑equipped clergy capable of responding to the spiritual, social, and administrative demands of 21st‑century ministry.
