The Asante Presbytery has begun internal consultations toward shaping its programme of activities for 2027, with the Chairperson, Rev. Samuel Ahima‑Yeboah, meeting with Departmental Directors and Coordinators to gather inputs for next year’s planning cycle.

The session, held as part of the Presbytery’s annual budgeting process, focused strongly on strengthening the financial base of the Presbytery for 2027. While such meetings previously involve only Presbytery Directors, this year’s engagement was expanded to include Coordinators to ensure a shared understanding of operational realities and to build common agreement on priorities for the coming year, Rev. Samuel Ahima Yeboah, explained in an interview.

Discussions centred on aligning departmental budgets with the church’s Agenda 2 Million, with participants brainstorming on how the Presbytery’s programmes, financial projections and mission activities can be tailored to support the growth agenda.

The meeting was also attended by the Presbytery Clerk, Rev. Alexander Afari‑Kissi, who joined the leadership team in reviewing proposals and offering guidance on the strategic direction for 2027. The expanded consultation is expected to enhance collaboration, improve planning accuracy and strengthen the Presbytery’s readiness for next year.
