Continuous training key to effective service
The Director of the Presbyterian Lay Training Centre (PLTC), Nsaba, Rev. Dr. Daniel Laryea, has underscored the importance of continuous training and education in equipping Christians for effective service in both the Church and society.
He made the call during the graduation ceremony of 35 students of the Centre on last Friday at Agona Nsaba. All the graduands were drawn from the Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery and successfully completed various training programmes designed to strengthen their knowledge, leadership, and capacity for Christian service.
Addressing the congregation, Rev. Dr. Daniel Laryea stressed that learning should not end after formal training but must become a lifelong commitment. He noted that continuous education remains essential for effective ministry, leadership, and community transformation, urging church members to pursue opportunities that enhance their spiritual growth.
The colourful ceremony brought together ministers, church leaders, tutors, and other stakeholders who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the graduands and their commitment to personal and spiritual development.
The occasion was graced by the Chairperson of the Central Presbytery, Rev. Nana Osei Owusu Fosu, who joined other dignitaries in congratulating the students on the successful completion of their training and encouraging them to put their acquired knowledge to good use in their congregations and communities.
