Sefwi Presbytery acquire new media tools
Weeks after the official launch of its Media and Public Relations Unit, the Sefwi Presbytery has taken a bold step to enhance its communication capacity by acquiring modern media equipment. The newly purchased items include cameras, lenses, tripods, microphones, speedlights, video lights, and walkie-talkies, all of which are expected to significantly boost the Presbytery’s ability to capture, produce, and disseminate high-quality content.
This acquisition comes as part of the Presbytery’s broader vision to use media as a strategic tool for evangelism, documentation, and effective communication of the gospel. The launch of the Media Unit, held at Grace Congregation in Bibiani earlier in January, marked a turning point in the Presbytery’s communication strategy.
The unveiling of the Sefwi Presbytery TV logo, coupled with vibrant activities such as street evangelism and a prayer marathon, underscored the Presbytery’s commitment to spreading the gospel through modern platforms. By equipping the media unit with professional tools, the Presbytery aims to ensure that its stories, programmes, and mission activities are captured with clarity and shared widely across digital and traditional platforms.
The investment also reflects the growing awareness within the PCG of the importance of structured public relations and media units to support the church’s mission both nationally and globally. Leaders of the Presbytery expressed confidence that the new equipment will empower the Media and PR team to deliver impactful coverage of events, strengthen internal communication, and expand outreach to the wider community.
