PCG holds Consultation on Higher Education

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana will hold a four-day stakeholder Consultation on Higher Education of all heads of Presbyterian higher institutions such as Senior High Schools, Colleges of Education, Presbyterian University College, Ghana and Akrofi Christaller Institute dubbed ‘the Moderator’s Consultation on Education’ in Accra from Tuesday 13th October to Friday 16th October 2020.

The four day meeting is under the theme “Enhancing Quality Education Delivery in Presbyterian Institutions-The Role of Educational Administrators” with the sub-theme: Excelling beyond the challenges of COVID-19

The meeting will discuss effective ways and strategies to managing educational institutions of the Church in terms of discipline, practice and infrastructure development as a partner to government in education delivery in the country.

Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Hon. Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Deputy Minister of Education and Prof. Kofi Awusabo-Asare Chairman, National Accreditation Board are among the dignitaries expected to address the meeting.

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, the Rt. Rev Prof Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante will moderate the four day meeting.
