His Gracious Majesty Oseadeeyo Dr Frimpong Manso IV, Chief of the Akyem Kotoku State, has paid an important visit to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), General Assembly Office, reaffirming the deep-rooted historical and developmental ties between the Kotoku community and the church.
Speaking during the visit, the Chief pointed out the importance of institutional collaboration and mutual growth. “I am here to bring the institutions together,” he said. “I believe that the PCG is a church that is interested in development. The Akyem Kotoku community have their history with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.”
The chief described the visit as an “acquaintance visit” aimed at rekindling the longstanding relationship between the Kotoku community at Akyem Oda and the PCG. “I see it relevant to reconnect the history of the Kotoku community and the church, to build collaboration or cooperation and grow each other,” he added.
His Gracious Majesty Oseadeeyo Dr Frimpong Manso IV stated, “Kotoku is Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Church is Kotoku. The PCG is for development. We’ve seen it in the universities that you’re opening; my goal is one of marriage, cordiality and friendship.
The visit comes a continuation of the partnership between traditional leadership and faith-based institutions, like the PCG with a shared vision for community development and educational advancement.
