In the spirit of giving as Christmas approaches, the Sekyere Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has presented dozens of tubers of yam to staff of the Ga Presbytery.

The gesture, which reflects the bond of partnership between the two presbyteries, was made by the Sekyere Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Samuel Foster Kwakye, during a brief ceremony at the Ga Presbytery office.

Receiving the items on behalf of the staff, the Ga Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Col. (Rtd.) David Adoteye-Asare expressed heartfelt appreciation to Sekyere Presbytery for their kindness and thoughtfulness. He noted that the donation was a timely show of Christian love and solidarity as the church prepares to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Present at the ceremony alongside the Ga Presbytery Chairperson were the Presbytery Clerk, Rev. Isaac Quist, and Rev. Ortis Holtsborne Okaite Okantey, who joined in acknowledging the generosity of their twinning partners.

The donation underscores the Presbyterian tradition of fellowship and mutual support, reminding members that the season of Christmas is not only about celebration but also about sharing and caring for one another as Jesus taught.
