Presbytery Chairpersons of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) are meeting in Berekum, West Brong Presbytery, for their annual retreat, a programme designed to strengthen leadership and set the tone for the new year.
The retreat, which runs from January 12 to 16, 2026, has brought together chairpersons from across the country and the world to reflect, strategise, and renew their commitment to the mission of the Church. Such gatherings have become an important feature of the PCG calendar, offering leaders the opportunity to share experiences, align priorities, and build unity across presbyteries.
The programme also provides space for spiritual renewal, prayer, and fellowship, ensuring that chairpersons return to their presbyteries equipped with fresh vision and strengthened resolve. The Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, and the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev. David Aboagye-Danquah are present at the retreat, underscoring its significance in shaping the church’s direction for the year.
Their participation signals the importance of collaboration between the General Assembly and presbyteries in advancing evangelism, discipleship, and effective administration.
