Asante South strengthens media unit
The Asante South Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has boosted its Public Relations and Media Unit with modern media and communication equipment. On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the Presbytery received a cutting-edge 6K Ultra HD camcorder and projector, marking a new era in its media operations.
The equipment was officially presented by the Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Daniel Brobbey, to Rev. P. C. Ohemeng-Manu, Director of Administration and Human Resource.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Public Relations and Media Unit, Acting Public Relations Officer Mr. Richard Ankomah expressed profound gratitude, describing the investment as a milestone in the Presbytery’s communication journey.
The new camcorder is expected to elevate the quality of visual content produced by the Presbytery, enabling clearer and more engaging documentation of church activities, events, and outreach programmes. The accompanying projector will further enhance the dissemination of this high-quality media within the Presbytery and across its districts.
Speaking after the handover, Rev. Daniel Brobbey underscored the importance of modern communication tools in spreading the Gospel and connecting with communities in today’s digital age. He reaffirmed the Presbytery’s commitment to equipping its departments with the resources needed to fulfill their mandates efficiently and impactfully.
The donation is expected to empower the Public Relations and Media Unit to produce more professional and compelling media materials, thereby strengthening outreach and engagement with members and the wider public.
