The Sefwi Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana last Sunday unveiled its Presbytery Media Unit at Grace Congregation in Bibiani, marking a major step forward in the presbytery’s communication strategy.

The launch featured the unveiling of the Sefwi Presbytery TV logo and was accompanied by vibrant activities including street evangelism and a prayer marathon, underscoring the Presbytery’s commitment to spreading the Gospel through modern media tools.

The latest development signals a growing awareness among the PCG’s Presbyteries of the need to establish structured Public Relations and Media Units to support the church’s mission at both national and global levels. By investing in media infrastructure, the Sefwi Presbytery is positioning itself to produce high-quality content, amplify evangelism efforts, and engage more effectively with members and the wider public.

Speaking at the event, the Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Maxwell Nyantakyi Marfo emphasised that this initiative is “more than cameras and microphones” — it is about embracing 21st-century evangelism and ensuring that the presbytery’s voice is heard clearly, consistently, and creatively across platforms.

The Sewfi Presbytery Public Relations Officer, Nhyiraba Nyantakyi explained that the launch of the media unit reflects the broader vision of the PCG to integrate digital communication into its ministry, reinforcing its relevance and reach in today’s fast-paced media landscape.
