The Young Adults’ Fellowship (YAF) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana last Sunday launched the tenth edition of its flagship publication, the YAF Guide, at Resurrection Congregation, New Dormaa, in the Brong Ahafo Presbytery.

The launch, described as a historic milestone, was led by the National President of YAF, Mr. Frank Yeboah, who expressed gratitude to Almighty God for His faithfulness over 19 years of producing nine previous editions. He stated that the Guide has been more than a book, serving as a tool for spiritual growth, leadership development, and wise living among young adults.

In his address, the President, Mr. Frank Yeboah shared the significance of Volume 10, noting that for the first time the Guide carries an ISBN, formally establishing it as the intellectual and institutional property of the Fellowship. He urged members, especially those in the education sector, to ensure copies are placed in schools, colleges, universities, seminaries, and church libraries to benefit students and readers.

The content of the Guide was described as deeply relevant, addressing spiritual, moral, social, and intellectual realities confronting young adults today. It combines Bible studies with practical lessons on managing emotions, workplace conduct, building godly families, financial stewardship, and inclusive communities.

It also incorporates health topics such as goitre, fibroids, and the vital link between sleep and wellbeing, underscoring the holistic vision of the Fellowship. The President acknowledged the contributions of past officers, particularly Dr. Ofori Boadu, whose vision birthed the Guide, and praised the team of writers, the National Education Committee, and the Editorial Board for their tireless work.

He singled out Bro. Seth Dwamena Okyere, immediate past Deputy General Secretary, for his instrumental role in editing the volume. He further announced that funds raised during the launch would support the National YAF Pavilion agenda, specifically projects in the Upper and Northern regions, and encouraged generous giving.

The event was hosted by the Brong Ahafo Presbytery, whose leadership and hospitality were commended. The President also extended warm New Year greetings to YAF members across Ghana and the diaspora, urging them to purchase, read, and apply the lessons of the Guide in their daily lives.
