The National Executive Committee of the Young People’s Guild (YPG) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has embarked on a spiritually charged retreat under the theme “Celebrating Our Heritage: Building on the Foundation Already Laid as Youth”, inspired by 1 Corinthians 3:11.

Held from 16th to 18th January 2026 at Ascension Congregation, Obuase, in the Asante South Presbytery, the retreat brought together national leaders of the Guild for a time of renewal, reflection, and strategic planning.

The gathering served as a sacred pause for the executives to reconnect with their spiritual roots, reaffirm their commitment to youth ministry, and envision the future of the Guild with clarity and purpose. The theme underscored the importance of legacy and continuity, reminding participants that their work is built on the enduring foundation of Christ and the faithful service of generations past.

Through prayer, fellowship, and leadership sessions, the retreat reinforced the Guild’s mission to nurture vibrant, Christ-centered youth who are equipped to serve both Church and society. The YPG continues to be a vital arm of the PCG’s youth ministry, and this retreat is another step in strengthening its national leadership.
