The Grace Worship Centre congregation in Perth is preparing for a special moment of fellowship as the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, and the North America and Australia Presbytery (NAAP) Chairperson, Rev. Christian Bekoe Appenteng, join them in worship this Sunday.

The service will provide an opportunity for the Moderator to encourage members, fraternise with the congregation, and reaffirm the PCG’s mission of spreading the gospel and nurturing discipleship. The Australia District Minister, Rev. Kwadwo Osei-Bonsu, and Associate Minister Rev. Oparebea Ansah will also be present, alongside the Minister in charge, Rev. Ing. Stephen Asante Domfeh.

Perth, known for its thriving multicultural communities and strong Ghanaian diaspora presence, offers a unique setting for the PCG’s ministry. The city is a hub of commerce and culture in Western Australia, with landmarks such as Kings Park, the Swan River, and Fremantle reflecting its blend of modernity and heritage.

Against this backdrop, the Moderator’s worship engagement is expected to inspire members to remain steadfast in faith while embracing their role as witnesses of Christ in a diverse society. The worship service forms part of the Moderator’s wider pastoral itinerary in Australia, which began with his arrival in Sydney on January 23, 2026.
