The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has extended significant financial support to two of its Senior High Technical Schools, presenting cheques worth GHS100,000 each to the Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi, and the Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Larteh.

The brief ceremony took place at Abokobi during the ongoing General Assembly Council meeting. The Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, handed over the cheques to the leadership of the two institutions, underscoring the church’s commitment to strengthening its educational establishments.

Receiving the support on behalf of their schools, Mrs Joyce Appiah, Headmistress of Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi, and her counterpart from Larteh expressed heartfelt gratitude to the church. They noted that the funds would go a long way in supporting ongoing projects within their institutions.

The gesture reflects the PCG’s longstanding tradition of investing in education as a cornerstone of its mission. For decades, the church has been instrumental in establishing and sustaining schools across the country, shaping generations through discipline and academic excellence.

By channeling resources into its Senior High Technical Schools, the PCG continues to affirm its role as a partner in national development. Education remains central to the church’s mission, and such interventions are part of broader efforts to ensure that Presbyterian schools maintain their ethos while meeting modern demands.
