In a joyful and spirit‑filled service last Sunday, the Ga Presbytery officially inducted Rev. Mrs. Patricia Addy as the new Director of the Presbyterian Women’s Centre (PWC), Abokobi. The ceremony took place at the Zimmermann Memorial Congregation, Abokobi, and was attended by clergy, family, friends, members of the Women’s Fellowship, and the wider church community.

Dressed in clerical robes adorned with a colourful kente stole symbolising heritage and service, Rev. Mrs. Addy stood radiant as prayers, scripture readings, and charges were offered, entrusting her leadership to God’s abundant grace.

The congregation erupted in praise and thanksgiving, with hymns filling the chapel as attendees commended her faithfulness, wisdom, and passion for women’s ministry.

As Director, Rev. Mrs. Addy steps into a vital role guiding the centre’s mission of empowering women through spiritual growth, education, skills training, and holistic development. Her appointment marks a new chapter for the PWC, building on its legacy of service to women and families across the church.

The Ga Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Col. David Adoteye Asare expressed confidence that under her stewardship, the centre will reach greater heights, expand its impact and strengthen its role as a hub for women’s empowerment within the church.
