2026 National Crusade begins today
The Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s much-anticipated 2026 National Crusade opens today at Jubilee Park in Kumasi, hosted by the Asante Presbytery. The three-day revival, running from 11thh to 13thh March, is themed “Jesus Christ, Our Hope and Refuge” with scriptural focus on Psalm 91 and Hebrews 6:18–19.
The Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, together with the Clerk, Rev. David Aboagye-Danquah, will headline the crusade.
They will be joined by the Asante Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Samuel Ahima-Yeboah, and the Director of Mission and Evangelism, Rev. Dr. E.K. Sarbah, alongside other ministers. The main speaker will be Rev Eric Botchway.
Sessions are scheduled to begin each evening at 5pm, with additional morning prayer and teaching services. The crusade will be a time of renewal, healing, and spiritual empowerment for thousands of Presbyterians and other worshippers expected to be at the event.
Church leaders have described the gathering as a national call to faith, urging Presbyterians and all Christians to find hope and refuge in Christ amid life’s uncertainties. The Asante Presbytery has been promoting the event for weeks, encouraging members and the wider public to participate fully.
The 2026 National Crusade is expected to leave a lasting impact on the spiritual life of the church and the nation.
