The President of the Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) of the Asante Presbytery, Margaret Ewurabena Sey, has hailed the commissioning of the YAF Clinic now known as the Presbyterian Health Centre at Akyeremade as the culmination of a decade-long vision driven by successive YAF leaders and members.

In her welcome speech, she described the Presbyterian Health Centre as “a powerful testament to what is possible when a God-given vision meets unwavering commitment, and when compassion is actively transformed into action.” She explained that the project was conceived and nurtured through prayer, sacrificial giving, and persistent leadership, making it the first health facility built by the PCG In the Asante Presbytery.

Margaret Sey traced the journey of the project, acknowledging past YAF presidents who each played a role in advancing the vision, from acquiring the land and laying the foundation, to roofing, furnishing, and completing the finishing touches. She stated that the centre was not the achievement of one person but the collective legacy of many leaders and members united in purpose.

She also expressed gratitude to Presbytery Chairpersons, chaplains, congregations, and community leaders for their support, noting that their contributions provided the foundation for YAF’s success. “Today, this clinic stands not as the accomplishment of one person or one administration, but as the collective legacy of many leaders, many members, and one united vision under God,” she said.
