The Brong Ahafo Presbytery is set to welcome the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, who is on a pastoral visit to the presbytery from Monday, 16th to Sunday, 22nd March 2026.
This visit marks the Moderator’s third pastoral engagement this year, following similar visits to the North America/Australia Presbytery and the Central Presbytery. It is also his fourth since November 2025, when he undertook a pastoral tour of the Western Presbytery.
The Brong Ahafo Presbytery chairperson, Rev. Benjamin Appiah, and his team of ministers have been preparing for the week-long visit of fellowship, worship, and pastoral interaction. The visit will include meetings with ministers, congregations, and presbytery officers, as well as engagements with youth and fellowship groups.
The pastoral tour is expected to strengthen unity within the presbytery, encourage ministers and agents in their work, and deepen the spiritual life of congregations. The Moderator’s presence will also highlight the church’s commitment to pastoral care.
