Akuapem Presbytery in lively Ghana Day show
The Akuapem Presbytery Office came alive with colour last Friday as staff marked Ghana Month with a celebration that blended heritage and health. What began as an ordinary workday quickly transformed into a lively Ghana Day experience, filled with music, laughter, and a strong sense of unity.
From the moment staff stepped into the office, the atmosphere was charged with the pulse of authentic Ghanaian tunes—the kind that naturally set shoulders swaying. Staff, dressed in striking traditional attire, proudly showcased the rich colours and cultural heritage of the country.
The celebration was not only a feast for the eyes and ears but also a day dedicated to well‑being. A health screening station was set up, where staff checked their blood pressure, glucose levels, and other indicators, reinforcing the message that celebration and self‑care can go hand in hand.
The beautiful blend of responsibility and revelry was evident throughout the day. Colleagues cheered one another on, shared jokes, and even broke into spontaneous dance, embodying the joy of Ghana Month. The event highlighted a powerful truth: a healthy team is a strong team, and culture thrives best when paired with care.
By the close of the day, it was clear that the celebration had gone beyond simply marking Ghana Day. It was about connection, pride, and the collective spirit of the Presbytery staff.
At the Akuapem Presbytery, Ghana Month was not just observed—it was deeply felt, leaving behind a lasting impression of unity, cultural pride, and shared responsibility.
