The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, has returned to Ghana after a successful two‑week pastoral visit to the North America/Australia Presbytery (NAAP).
The visit, which formed part of his ongoing global pastoral engagements, strengthened fellowship with congregations across the United States and highlighted the growing impact of the PCG’s mission abroad.
During the tour, the Moderator led several key services, including ordination and commissioning services for ministers serving within the Presbytery.
He also met with district ministers, presbyters, and congregants to discuss mission growth, discipleship, and preparations toward the Church’s Bicentennial Celebration in 2028. The Moderator encouraged members in the diaspora to remain rooted in Christ while contributing meaningfully to the Church’s mission internationally.
His itinerary included worship services, pastoral interactions, and the dedication of a manse. Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye has since returned to Ghana to resume official duties.
