Clerk of General Assembly visits AG TV
As part of his ongoing fraternal visits to sister churches, the Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. David Aboagye‑Danquah, has visited AG TV, the television network of the Assemblies of God, Ghana.
The visit formed part of his broader engagement with the leadership of the Assemblies of God, following an earlier meeting with the denomination’s General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Ernest Birikorang. At AG TV, the Clerk was warmly received by the Programmes Manager, Ato Kwamena Richardson, who conducted him and his team through the network’s facilities.
The tour included the main studio, the Master Control Room, and the production unit, where the Clerk interacted with staff and asked questions about their operations, programming, and content development processes.
Rev. Aboagye‑Danquah commended AG TV for its steadfastness in using media to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, noting that the station’s commitment to evangelism is a blessing to the wider Christian community. He explained that his visit to the television studio was intended to give him first‑hand insight into how other churches are leveraging media for mission.
“Knowledge sharing is important,” he said, emphasising that the body of Christ grows stronger when churches learn from one another and support each other’s efforts in evangelism and discipleship.
Accompanying the Clerk were the Director for Ecumenical and Social Relations, Rev. Andrew Odjawo; Director for Mission and Evangelism, Rev. Dr. E. K. Sarbah; Director for Development and Social Services, Mrs. Rebecca Teiko Sabah; Personal Assistant to the Clerk, Rev. Eugene Duodu; and the Public Relations Officer, Jerome Otchere.
