Rev. Arkhurst was accompanied by the Kasoa District Minister, Rev. Seth Owusu Agyekum, Mama Gifty Ahelegbe, Lay Representative to Presbytery, and other agents of the church. Together, they participated in a donation exercise aimed at supporting mothers and children receiving care at the facility.
Items presented included detergents, toilet rolls, assorted soaps, and other essential supplies intended to improve hygiene and comfort for patients. The gesture was warmly received by hospital staff, who expressed appreciation for the church’s continued commitment to community welfare.
As part of his visit, Rev. Arkhurst also inspected key administrative documents and records within the District, offering guidance and encouragement to ministers and agents. He commended the District for its dedication to ministry and urged them to continue serving faithfully in their various congregations.
The Kasoa District described the donation as an expression of Christian love and a practical demonstration of the church’s mission to care for the vulnerable.
