Afosu District appreciates support for pastoral vehicle acquisition
The Afosu District of the Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery has expressed deep gratitude to God and to all donors following the successful acquisition of a Hyundai mini‑van to support pastoral work within the District.
The vehicle, purchased through the benevolence and voluntary contributions of congregants, friends, and well‑wishers, marks a significant step forward in strengthening ministry and mission in the area.
The District Minister, Rev. Ephraim Kwame Ntiamoa‑Larbi, conveyed heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed toward the purchase. He noted that the generosity shown reflects the unity, commitment, and sacrificial spirit that continue to define the life of the Church.
According to him, the collective effort demonstrated how much the District values the work of ministry and the need to resource it effectively. Rev. Ntiamoa‑Larbi also acknowledged the unwavering support of the District Standing Committee, whose guidance and encouragement helped bring the initiative to fruition.
He emphasised that the new vehicle will greatly enhance pastoral duties, including visitation, evangelism, administrative responsibilities, and outreach across the District’s congregations. Describing the acquisition as a blessing, he added that improved mobility will enable ministers and officers to respond more promptly to the spiritual and pastoral needs of members, especially in communities that are difficult to reach.
The Afosu District looks forward to putting the vehicle to full use in advancing the mission of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, deepening fellowship, and strengthening its witness within the communities it serves.
