Oda: 3-bedroom Executive Lounge dedicated
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has dedicated a newly constructed 3‑bedroom Executive Lounge at Akyem Oda Community 6, marking a significant enhancement to the Presbytery’s hospitality infrastructure.
The modern facility is designed to provide dignified and comfortable accommodation for high‑ranking church officials during official assignments within the West Akyem Presbytery. The project represents a strategic investment in strengthening the church’s operational efficiency as its mission continues to expand.
Addressing congregants and invited guests, the Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Raymond Baah Abekah, stated the importance of the project and traced its origins to the tenure of former Chairperson, Rev. Prof. B. I. Adu Okoree. He noted that the initiative was sustained through consistent commitment to institutional growth and improved service delivery.
Rev. Abekah also expressed profound appreciation to Dabehene of Akyem Abenase, Nana Ackom Nkansah, for his “massive support” in ensuring the project reached completion, describing his contribution as a demonstration of the fruitful partnership between the Church and the traditional authority.
Following the symbolic presentation of the keys, the Moderator led the formal rites of dedication, consecrating the building to the service of God and the advancement of the church’s mission.
Assisting the Moderator in the dedication were the Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Raymond Baah Abekah; the Presbytery Clerk, Rev. Samuel Agyei; Mrs. Comfort Osei Boakye, Lay Representative on the General Assembly Council; Dabehene of Akyem Abenase, Nana Ackom Nkansah; and former Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Prof. B. I. Adu Okoree,.
