The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare‑Kwakye, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to two young members of the West Akyem Presbytery whose acts of generosity and creativity deeply touched him during his pastoral visit to the area.

Preaching at the Calvary Congregation, Akyem Awisa, on the final day of his week‑long visit, the Moderator paused to acknowledge what could be described as beautiful gestures of youthful devotion that reflect the spirit of service.

The first was Juliana Osei Nyarkoa, the gifted pencil artist whose striking portrait of the Moderator captured widespread admiration. Juliana, a young member of the Presbytery, not only sketched the Moderator with remarkable skill but also presented the framed artwork to him in person.

The Moderator praised her creativity and willingness to use her God‑given talent. He also extended special appreciation to a young boy from Akyem Akropong, who travelled to meet him and personally present his contribution toward the Kutunse Project, the PCG’s major infrastructural initiative.

The Moderator described the boy’s gesture as a good reminder that no one is too young to give, and no gift is too small in the house of God. He commended both young people for embodying the values of generosity and commitment to the mission of the church. The Moderator thanked the West Akyem Presbytery for the warm hospitality extended to him and his team throughout the visit.
