A touching moment unfolded at Assin Breku when young learner, Ohene Asante Acheampong, stepped forward with a heartfelt contribution toward the Kutunse Project, demonstrating that stewardship and generosity are virtues that transcend age.

The presentation took place during the official dedication and handing over of the Assin Breku Chapel, a ceremony presided over by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare‑Kwakye.

The joyous occasion, already filled with colour and celebration, was further brightened by the young boy’s unexpected act of giving. Ohene Asante Acheampong, a pupil of the Assin Breku Presbyterian Primary School, approached the Moderator with a beautifully crafted portrait frame featuring the Moderator.

Alongside the portrait, he presented a cash donation dedicated to supporting the ongoing construction works at Kutunse. His gesture drew warm applause from the congregation, clergy, and guests present, becoming one of the most memorable highlights of the ceremony.

The Moderator, visibly moved, commended the young learner for his selflessness and sense of responsibility toward the church’s mission. He noted that such acts of generosity from the youth are a powerful sign of hope for the future of both the church and the nation, adding that when children give from their hearts, it shows that the next generation understands what it means to support God’s work.

The Kutunse Project, a major national initiative of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, aims to develop a world‑class retreat and conference centre to serve the church’s growing needs in training, mission, and national gatherings.
