The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has announced a significant investment of GH¢6,980,833.30 in educational support over the past year, reinforcing its commitment to accessible and equitable education.

According to the Education Department, more than half of this amount was directed toward infrastructural development to improve access and safety in schools, while the remaining funds were used to provide scholarships and educational assistance to needy students, including those with special needs.

This came to light when the Director of Education and General Manager of Schools at the PCG, Mr. Daniel Yeboah Heinno took his turn at the third edition of the PCG Connect series on Tuesday. The Education Director explained that in addition to these investments, the PCG provided duty vehicles for all Regional Managers of Schools and a new vehicle for the General Manager of Schools to enhance supervision and coordination.

Mr. Heinno described these investments as essential to sustaining PCG’s legacy of excellence and ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial hardship adding that the church believes that such support is crucial for maintaining high standards and promoting equal opportunities across its educational institutions.
