The National Executive Council of the Women’s Fellowship of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has concluded a three‑day seminar at the Presbyterian Women’s Centre (PWC), Abokobi, from 12th to 14th June 2026. The seminar formed part of the Council’s continuous efforts to strengthen leadership capacity, deepen fellowship, and enhance the effectiveness of women’s ministry across the church.

Members of the Executive Council gathered for strategic discussions, planning sessions, and capacity‑building engagements aimed at equipping leaders to better support congregations and presbyteries nationwide. The meeting also provided space for prayer, reflection, and evaluation of ongoing programmes within the Women’s Fellowship.

As part of their stay at PWC, the Council joined the PWC Worship Centre on Sunday to observe Red Sunday, the PCG’s nationwide campaign against illegal mining (galamsey). Dressed in red, the women joined the congregation in raising awareness about the destruction of Ghana’s rivers, forests, and farmlands, and reaffirmed the church’s call for ecological justice.

Leaders of the Fellowship stated that protecting the environment is a Christian responsibility and encouraged members to continue advocating for the preservation of God’s creation. The seminar ended with renewed commitment from the National Executive Council to strengthen women’s ministry, support congregations, and contribute actively to the church’s mission and national advocacy efforts.
