The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has intensified efforts to complete one of its most ambitious infrastructure projects as construction progresses steadily on the proposed Kutunse Conference Centre.

The Moderator, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, disclosed that the church has prioritised the first phase of the project—a major conference hall expected to seat approximately 1,500 participants. He noted that the smaller conference facility alone is estimated at GHS90 million, while the entire project is projected to cost about GHS600 million.

Appealing to Ministers, Congregations, and members both in Ghana and abroad, the Moderator stressed that sacrificial giving and collective commitment are essential if the church is to complete the project within the desired timeframe. He emphasised that internally generated funds alone are not sufficient to deliver the vision.

Describing the Kuntunse Project as a strategic investment for future generations, Rt. Rev. Dr. Opare Kwakye said the facility will significantly enhance the church’s capacity to host national and international conferences, training programmes, and major denominational events.

He further encouraged the entire church to rally behind the project, noting that completing the landmark facility ahead of the PCG Bicentennial celebrations in 2028 would be a historic achievement for the denomination.
