New duty vehicle for Sefwi Presbytery
The Sefwi Presbytery has taken delivery of a new duty vehicle, a significant addition expected to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen the Presbytery’s mission and pastoral work across its operational areas.
The presentation of the vehicle marks an important investment in the Presbytery’s mobility, especially as its Chairperson, Rev. Maxwell Nyantakyi and others continue to serve congregations spread across wide geographical zones. The new vehicle is expected to support supervisory visits, pastoral engagements, evangelistic outreach, and the coordination of programmes within the Presbytery.
Leadership of the Sefwi Presbytery expressed gratitude to God, describing it as timely and essential for effective ministry. They noted that the Presbytery’s terrain and the increasing demands of mission work make reliable transportation a necessity rather than a luxury.
The gesture also reflects the church’s broader commitment to resourcing its presbyteries for effective governance and pastoral care. In recent years, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has prioritised logistical support for its presbyteries, recognising that strong local leadership depends on adequate tools for service.
The Sefwi Presbytery has assured the church that the vehicle will be used responsibly and maintained properly to ensure long-term service. Members of the Presbytery have also been encouraged to continue praying for the leadership as they work to expand the Church’s witness in the region.
