The outgoing Director of the Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC), Rev. Gideon Buernor Puplampu, has delivered a deeply reflective address, describing his years of service at the Centre as “exacting and very fulfilling.”

Speaking at the 2026 OMT–LIM graduation ceremony—his final as Director—Rev. Puplampu said his time at RTC had drawn him into a deeper dimension of worship, service, and spiritual formation within the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

He told the gathering that the period had stretched and shaped him in profound ways. “It brought me to a dimension of worship and nature for our church that draws on all one ever had and keeps leading one further into ministry,” he said, reflecting on the spiritual demands and joys of leading the centre.

Rev. Puplampu expressed gratitude for the privilege of serving, noting that he had approached his responsibilities with diligence and devotion. “I have taken the liberty to serve the period as I should have. I have had great job satisfaction, and I will not forget to give God all the glory for this,” he said.

In a poetic moment, he likened God’s grace to countless stripes of mercy surrounding him daily. “If every stalk of grass I see around the aquarium and the water tank that serve where I sit—and also serve within the spirit—were stripes, the school of grace of God to me and my family would still be longer than the days of my life.”

He ended his address with heartfelt gratitude: “Thank you. Thank you, God. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve. Thank you.” Rev. Puplampu’s departure marks the end of a significant chapter in the life of RTC, where his leadership has shaped ministerial formation, strengthened institutional systems, and deepened the centre’s spiritual identity.
