The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, has paid glowing tribute to the outgoing Principal of Kibi Presbyterian College of Education, Rev. Dr. Charles Fosu‑Ayarkwah, for his exceptional leadership and transformational impact on the institution.
Speaking at the college’s graduation ceremony, the Moderator described Rev. Dr. Fosu‑Ayarkwah as an outstanding educationist whose tenure has been marked by remarkable infrastructural, academic, and spiritual growth.
He noted that anyone returning to the college after a decade would immediately recognise the significant infrastructural transformation achieved under the Principal’s leadership, including the impressive auditorium where the graduation ceremony was held. He added that additional facilities—a pharmacy and a pavilion—were also commissioned after the ceremony, further demonstrating the Principal’s commitment to development.
Beyond infrastructure, the Moderator commended Rev. Dr. Fosu‑Ayarkwah for improving the college’s academic performance and strengthening its spiritual life, describing him as an all‑round Principal who has left an enduring legacy. In admiration, he affectionately gave him the nickname “Osiadan.”
He prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon the outgoing Principal as he prepares for the next chapter of his ministry and career and extended warm appreciation to his wife for her unwavering support throughout his tenure.
The Moderator concluded by affirming that the Presbyterian Church of Ghana remains deeply grateful for Rev. Dr. Fosu‑Ayarkwah’s dedicated service and wished him continued success in all future endeavours.
