New General Secretary of the Ghana Bible Society introduced to the Moderator
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has charged the Bible Society of Ghana to continue with its good work to ensure the Bible gets to every home and help to transform the lives of citizens of the nation.
The Moderator made the call when a delegation from the Bible Society of Ghana paid a courtesy call on him at the Church House, Osu, Head Office of the PCG to introduce the new General Secretary of the Bible Society of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Enoch Aryee-Atta to him.
The new General Secretary, a Presbyterian Church of Ghana Minister, took over from Rev. Dr. Erasmus Odonkor, who was also a PCG Minister. The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Council of the Bible Society of Ghana, Mr. J. N. B. Tetteh. Other members of the delegation were Prof. Mrs. Akosua Anyidoho (Vice-Chairman) Rev. Issifu Dokurugu (CAP Manager), Rev. Charles Adu-Twumasi (Programmes and Church Relations Manager), and Mrs. Catherine Odjidja (Communication and Resource Mobilization Manager).
Brief Profile of the General Secretary
Rev. Dr. Enoch Eric Aryee-Atta, is the 7th General Secretary of the Bible Society of Ghana. He comes to the job with several years of corporate and ministerial experiences. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration and a Doctor of Philosophy Degrees in Business Administration and has several professional qualifications in business-related fields. Rev. Dr. Aryee-Atta has experience working for corporates organizations such as AngloGold Ashanti, NCR, and is the immediate past Group Managing Director of Tobinco Group of Companies. He was commissioned as Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in 2008 and has since served in its Congregations. He is married to Sally, and a father of four.
