Executive of PRESEC Alumni (Ɔdadeɛ) pays courtesy call on Moderator
The Executive of the Presbyterian Senior High School (PRESEC) Old Students Association known as (Ɔdadeɛ) led by the Global President, Ɔdadeɛ Ernest Ofori-Sarpong, on Tuesday 25th January 2022, paid a courtesy call on the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante.
The other executive included Ɔdadeɛ Patricia Obo-Nai, Global Vice President, Ɔdadeɛ Ekow Annobil, Director of Finance, Ɔdadeɛ Ernest Owusu Afari, Ɔdadeɛ Chris Fiifi Johnson Director of Communication, Ɔdadeɛ Leonard Akuffo Kwapong Global Organizer, and Ɔdadeɛ Benjami Adjei Peprah- Executive Secretary.
Receiving the President and his entourage at his office, the Moderator was full of praise for the contributions of the Old Boys to the development of the school over the past years.
Rt. Rev Prof. Mante again commended the association for their support to the school during the National Maths and Science Quiz completion last year. He said although PRESEC could not make it seven as expected but their performance was evidently clear that they prepared well for the competition.
The Moderator mentioned that he was looking forward to working with the Executive of the association in the Church’s quest to promote the proverbial ‘Presbyterian Discipline’ for excellence in academic performance in the school.
He reminded the association that, the people who founded the school had a purpose to instill in the children Christian training for a solid foundation. He therefore urged the executives to help instill hard work in the students.
The Global President Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, on his part mentioned that the courtesy call was to officially introduce themselves to the Moderator after their elections and pledged their support to the development of the school.
Present at the meeting were Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, Chairperson of the Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Mrs. Rosamund Amoako Apenteng, General of the Presbyterian Schools and Rev George Ezekiel Larbi, Public Relations Officer of the Church.
