New Kwahu Presbytery Chairperson Outlines Vision

– Promises to Resource PR Unit Among Others

The newly inducted Chairperson of the Kwahu Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rev. Joshua Bossman Ohene, has outlined his vision for the presbytery, sharing his commitment to growth and development.

In his inaugural address at the Ramseyer Congregation where he was inducted into office, Rev. Joshua Bossman Ohene promised to build upon the current 4.2% growth rate to achieve a minimum of 10% annual growth. He stressed the importance of leadership and accountability, transparency, and continuous education for all members.

Quoting Zechariah 4:6, Rev. Joshua Bossman Ohene reiterated the importance of relying on God’s spirit for guidance and strength. “‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts,'” he said.

“We will prioritise the complete completion of the Kwahu Presbytery hostel facility, diversify our agriculture projects, and increase our social media,” Rev. Joshua Bossman Ohene said. He also pledged to resource the Public Relations Unit, enhance community engagement, and foster a stronger relationship with the PCG’s educational institutions in the presbytery.

Rev. Joshua Bossman Ohene pledged to support the PCG’s bicentennial celebration, the Agenda 2 Million to grow membership, and the Kutunse project. He said he would encourage members to pay the minimum of GHS200 annually for construction of Presbyterian Conference Centre otherwise known as the Kutunse Project.

“I humbly call upon all and sundry, home and abroad, to support the Kwahu Presbytery to achieve our goals and contribute to the PCG’s overall success,” Rev. Joshua Bossman Ohene said.
