Rev. Winfred Tetteh inducted as Ga Mission Field Coordinator
The Ga Presbytery has marked a significant leadership transition in the Ga Mission Field with the induction of Rev. Winfred Olertey Tetteh as its new Coordinator. The colourful and spirit-filled service took place last Sunday at the Bethany Congregation in Osofoiaman, Mayera, drawing members, clergy, and leaders from across the Presbytery.
Presiding over the ceremony was the Chairperson of the Presbytery, Rev. Col. David Adoteye-Asare, who was assisted by the Presbytery Clerk and the Session Council. The induction opened a new chapter for the Ga Mission Field, which continues to play a vital role in evangelism, church planting, and community outreach within the PCG.
In his acceptance remarks, Rev. Tetteh pledged his unwavering commitment to the growth and transformation of the Mission Field. He stated that through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, he would pursue strategic leadership and dynamic church growth initiatives that would lift the face of the Mission Field and advance the kingdom of God.
The service saw congregants and ministers singing joyfully besides offering prayers of dedication. Congregants expressed optimism that Rev. Tetteh’s leadership would usher in a season of renewed energy and expansion. With this induction, the Ga Mission Field reaffirms its commitment to mission work, discipleship, and the holistic development of communities under the banner of Christ.
