Unworthy Servants: Tribute to National Crusade workers
The 2026 National Crusade, held in Kumasi from 11th to 13th March, has been recorded as one of the most impactful outdoor programmes by the Church in recent history. The massive turnout, the powerful ministration, the seamless coordination, and the evident move of God all point to a truly successful crusade.
Yet behind this remarkable success lay the tireless efforts of dedicated and selfless workers who availed themselves wholeheartedly to the cause of the Gospel. Sixteen (16) sub‑committees were carefully constituted by the National Planning Committee to bring the Crusade vision to life.
From the Prayer Team, who laboured fervently in intercession, to the Security Team, who ensured order and safety; from Protocol and Ushering, who served with grace and excellence, to the Medical and Counselling Teams, who ministered to both physical and spiritual needs—every unit played a vital role.
The Publicity and Media Team worked tirelessly to spread the message far and wide, capturing and projecting every moment, while the Technical, Sound, and Music Teams ensured a smooth and spirit‑filled flow throughout each session. The Transport Team coordinated movement efficiently, and the Accommodation and Meals Committee provided care and comfort for workers and guests alike.
Special mention must be made of the Church Planting Team, whose efforts have already borne lasting fruit with the planting of a new church at Ohwim Hwidiem, a powerful proof that the impact of the Crusade extends far beyond the event itself. The contributions of the Youth and Women Committees also added strength, energy, and depth to the entire programme.
Their work, their sweat, and their sacrifice were not hidden. They were clearly reflected in the orderliness, the attendance, and the overall impact of the Crusade. From skilled hands to willing hearts, all laboured together in unity and offered their best to the glory of God. Beyond these committees, many worked quietly behind the scenes, unseen by the crowds but not unnoticed by the Lord of the Harvest.
They gave their time, their strength, and their hearts, often going beyond comfort and convenience, to ensure that the Gospel was proclaimed and lives were touched. Surely, Heaven has taken notice. To every worker, volunteer, and labourer in this great assignment, we say thank you. Your labour was not in vain.
May the Lord richly reward you, strengthen you, and cause the fruits of this Crusade to abound in your lives and ministries. But what more can we say? “We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.” (Luke 17:10). To God be all the glory.
