The construction of the multi‑complex conference centre otherwise known as the Kutunse Project is progressing steadily, with significant milestones achieved in recent months. This was confirmed during a working visit by the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev. David Aboagye‑Danquah, who inspected the progress of work on Friday.

The visit formed part of the church’s commitment to ensuring that all major development projects are closely supervised and delivered to the highest standards. Upon arrival, the Clerk was briefed on the various phases of construction, including structural works completed, ongoing installations, and areas earmarked for attention.

A major highlight of the inspection was the update that the 1,600‑seater main conference auditorium is now approaching its roofing stage, a key structural milestone that signals the project’s transition into advanced finishing works. At the same time, screeding and plastering are progressing across multiple blocks, while preparatory work is underway to begin construction of the internal road network, which will enhance accessibility.

Rev. Aboagye‑Danquah commended the contractors, engineers, and artisans for their dedication, describing the project as “a testament to disciplined planning and excellent workmanship.” He urged the team to maintain strict quality control and adhere to timelines to ensure the project’s timely and successful completion.

The Clerk was accompanied by the Property Manager, Rev. Patrick Amarh. Together, they interacted with workers on site, expressing appreciation for their commitment and encouraging them to remain focused.
