Special edition of PCG Connect airs next week
The Presbyterian Church of Ghana is setting the stage for a major communication moment next week as a special edition of PCG Connect goes live, offering members a front‑row seat into the heart of the 26th General Assembly.
The upcoming broadcast is already being described as a deep‑dive engagement, designed to translate General Assembly decisions into clear, accessible conversations for Presbyterians across the country and beyond.
As the church strengthens its communication architecture, PCG Connect has become one of the most reliable bridges between leadership and members, bringing governance closer to the pews, presbyteries and congregations.
The special edition, scheduled for Tuesday, 25th August 2026 at 10:00am at the Zimmerman Congregation, Abokobi, promises to be one of the most comprehensive episodes yet.
Four key voices will lead the conversation: Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev. David Aboagye‑Danquah; District Minister and Chief Recorder at the General Assembly Office, Rev. Kingsley Kweku Gyekye; La Presbytery Lay Representative, Mrs. Eunice Naa Yeye Ocloo; and Legal Officer of the church, Richard Dua‑Ansah, Esq.
Together, they will unpack General Assembly decisions, explain administrative reforms, clarify legal matters and highlight the role of lay representation in strengthening governance. Supported by PCGTV, the broadcast will be streamed live across the church’s digital platforms, ensuring that Presbyterians from Accra to the diaspora can follow the discussions in real time.
Members are encouraged to tune in, share comments and engage actively as the church continues to deepen transparency, accountability and institutional communication. The special edition aligns with a broader communication agenda announced in the Clerk’s report to the General Assembly, which termed PCG Connect as one of the church’s “new kids on the block, introduced to enhance communication.
PCG Connect stands out as a flagship platform, officially launched on 17th March 2026 to give each of the church’s seven departments space to showcase their work, achievements and contributions to the mission of the church.
Held on the third Tuesday of every month, PCG Connect has received overwhelming support since its introduction. With PCGTV’s backing, the programme is broadcast live and widely shared across the church’s social media platforms, enabling members and the wider public to participate actively and offer feedback.
