Church House hosts TMHT Senior Citizens
It was an exciting and enlightening Wednesday morning when about two dozen Senior Citizens from The Most Holy Trinity Congregation, Lashibi, spent nearly two hours touring Church House, the Head Office of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Osu.
Led by their Minister‑in‑Charge, Rev. Seth Asamani, the group was warmly received by the Property Manager, Rev. Patrick Armah, who guided them through the entire facility, from the ground floor to the fourth floor.
Rev. Asamani explained that the purpose of the visit was not only to familiarise the Senior Citizens with the location of the Head Office but, more importantly, to give them first‑hand experience of how directors and staff of the various departments and units work within the office complex.
From the front desk to all seven departments and their corresponding units, the Senior Citizens, aged between 70 and 90, moved from office to office, asking questions, seeking clarifications, and interacting with staff.
On the third floor, the Director of Administration and Human Resource Management, Rev. George Obeng‑Agyei, engaged the visitors, who expressed their desire to have met the Moderator, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, and the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev. David Aboagye‑Danquah. Both were away on official assignments.
“We would have loved to meet them because they are our leaders,” one Senior Citizen remarked. Another added, “But we understand—they have very busy tasks. We appreciate their good work.”
One of the most engaging moments of the tour came when the group met the General Manager of PCG TV, Mr. Daniel Pabby. They asked questions about the station’s operations and encouraged the team to continue their good work.
The visit ended with a group photograph. Rev. Seth Asamani, on behalf of the Senior Citizens, thanked the Head Office for the warm reception.
