The District Minister of the Asomdwoe Mma Congregation in Hamburg, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Kwesi Tete, has urged members to remain focused on soul‑winning and unity, describing these as the pillars that will sustain the congregation’s growth following the dedication of their new chapel.

Expressing profound gratitude to the Moderator, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, and the General Assembly for their support toward the purchase of the chapel, Rev. Dr. Tete also thanked the congregation for mobilising resources in unity to secure the property. He emphasised that meaningful growth will only come when members remain spiritually focused and united in purpose.

Rev. Dr. Tete explained that the Hamburg congregation now operates in two segments—a German–English section worshipping in a separate hall, and the main congregation worshipping in the newly dedicated auditorium. He noted that all generational groups and ministries are active and functioning effectively, a sign of a healthy and dynamic church community.

He encouraged other congregations within the district and across Europe to learn from Hamburg’s example, stressing that purchasing property for the Church is possible when members work together intentionally and sacrificially. He added that regular tithes and offerings alone may not be enough to acquire such facilities; congregations must make extra efforts and mobilise resources strategically.

Rev. Dr. Tete further urged congregations to cultivate a culture of intentional giving, explaining that major projects require deliberate planning, unity, and sacrificial commitment. He expressed confidence that with continued focus on mission and unity, the Hamburg congregation will grow stronger and serve as a model for other congregations across Europe.

The dedication service and all accompanying events, he noted, were spectacular and to the glory of God, marking a new chapter in the life of the congregation.
