The Presbyterian Church of Ghana is strengthening its support systems for students across its schools through a combination of spiritual, cultural and developmental programmes, the Director of Education and General Manager of Schools, Mr. Daniel Yeboah Heinno has disclosed.

Speaking at the third session of the PCG Connect series, Mr. Yeboah Heinno stated that school worship continues to be actively promoted, ensuring that students receive spiritual nurturing alongside academic training. The church is also championing the speaking and reading of Ghanaian languages, reinforcing cultural identity and literacy through non‑formal education initiatives, he added.

Support for the National Union of Presbyterian Students, Ghana (NUPSG), remains vibrant, with the church providing guidance, pastoral care and resources to nurture the faith of young Presbyterians in Senior High Schools.

One of the most impactful interventions, the Director of Education said, has been the expansion of career guidance and mentorship programmes. Through career fairs, school visits and mentorship sessions, the church is helping students explore career paths, develop confidence and prepare for tertiary education and the job market.
