Kwahu Presbytery supports mission work with motorbikes
The Kwahu Presbytery has taken a significant step in strengthening mission work and expanding the church’s reach, following the distribution of motorbikes and the presentation of cash support to selected congregations and preaching points.
The initiative, undertaken in partnership with the Head Office, reflects the Presbytery’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that the Gospel reaches even the most remote communities. The donation exercise was carried out as part of the Presbytery’s broader strategy to empower ministers, catechists, and evangelists who serve in difficult terrains.
Many of these mission fields are located in hard‑to‑reach areas where transportation challenges often hinder pastoral visits, evangelism, and the effective nurturing of new believers. The provision of motorbikes is therefore expected to significantly enhance mobility, improve supervision, and strengthen the sustainability of preaching points across the Presbytery.
Leaders of the beneficiary congregations expressed deep appreciation for the timely intervention, describing it as a major boost to their ministry efforts. They noted that the support will not only ease the burden of travel but also increase their ability to respond promptly to pastoral needs, conduct outreach activities, and maintain regular fellowship with members scattered across distant communities.
